When I was in Accra, I relied heavily on my tank tops and my gladiator sandals because the heat DOES NOT PLAY! I did forget my shorts though, and that was a regret I carried throughout the trip. I soon realized that in almost every building I entered, the AC was blowing full blast, so I learned to always have a light cardigan. The sun if not covered by dust is not shy about showing your eyes its power, so my sunglasses were another staple I always had.
The thing I LOVED most about wearing such light clothing is the ACCESSORIES! I wasn't layered in coats so my jewels were a lovely addition to my light clothing. TEBI JEWELS TO BE EXACT! I love Tebi Jewels floral accessories, ADORE ADORE ADORE!
Below is a collage of my everyday look while in Accra minus the shorts that I was LONGING for. I love mixing floral prints and stripes together! The sun and the energy of the people in Accra are a reflection of the mix!
This look is also very L.A. and once this cold weather goes away, you best believe I will be in my shorts, tanks and layers and layers of Tebi Jewels!
Love,
Mazel

Tebi Designs Miss Ghana 2010 Crown
It always brings us such joy to reminisce about the huge success of Tebi on a most unlikely project - designing crowns. The event was Miss Ghana 2010 and the place, Accra.
It was a remarkable event, taking place way ahead of the official launching of the Tebi Jewels brand. We were presented with the pleasant opportunity of designing all three crowns of the 2010 Miss Ghana Beauty Pageant. Our first time ever of attempting a challenge of that sort, it called for every expertise the Tebi team had.
Under the leadership of Creative Director and CEO, Elizabeth Dankaro, Tebi created the showpiece prize - a stunning 18 karat gold-plated bespoke crown with a mixture of bronze and silver materials fused with onyx and ruby beads. The inspiration for the crown sprang from a representation of the African woman as a nurturer and an ambassador who exuded style and confidence and we worked tirelessly to create a crown that projected just that.
So when the masterpiece finally came together, it was with great satisfaction that we exclaimed "Mission Accomplished!" Here is a quick image of what it all looked like:
Your quality is always assured with Tebi so go grab yourselves some magnificent pieces from our showroom at Alys Plaza, Blohum Street, Dzorwulu, Accra or call +233 302 919 459 for more information.
Dream in jewels...
